“Mumma, you know na that I don’t like brinjal. Then why did you make it?” Ritika whined in her baby voice, pouting like a child who had just lost her favorite candy.

Her mother, however, had been through this act a million times before. She didn’t even bat an eye as she continued serving food on everyone’s plates as if her daughter hadn’t just launched a full-fledged tantrum.
